The estate would make a beautiful setting for any wedding given its rich history, the Manor of ‘Newlanda’ previously belonged to King Harold before the Norman Conquest, and it was the only land-holding in Roxwell that had been specifically listed in the Domesday Book of 1086. The very first reference made to the hall was reported back in 1447, and it has played host to many visitors since.
